Multi-service community center that promotes the wellness and recovery of participants by fostering meaningful activities and community involvement of their choice. Goal is to reduce the adverse consequences of serious mental health disturbances. WRC provides inclusive, voluntary, consumer-driven and holistic approaches attentive to mental health and drug/alcohol disorders that are culturally responsive to the beliefs, traditions, values and languages of the individuals and families served. The center is consumer/family member driven and operated, only requiring participants to be a resident of Sacramento County. The center provides a variety of services that include networking and linkage, employment support, computer lab and training, and alternative and complementary approaches such as diet and nutrition, yoga and meditation.
