Federally-funded program targeting the training of experienced HIV care providers; sub-site of the Pacific AIDS Education and Training Center. Training based on assessments of local community needs. Special emphasis on training Ryan White-funded providers and those in community-based organizations including rural, community, and migrant health centers and clinics; correctional facilities; and AIDS service organizations. Program attempts to reach providers of care to minority and other underserved populations that are increasingly affected by HIV.
